Naming
We created building renderings to showcase how the office and communal areas would look when the project was completed. We also made sure to include what would be the perfect colors and materials. Not only did this help our clients visualize how their offices would look, but it also helped us create a brand that would look at home in the space. In the process, we created renderings that were beautiful and showcased the company’s personality. This was just one of many design-related tasks that came with creating a new brand.
Logo Design
The logo for Modus is based off of a Roman Griffin Statue. The legs on the statue are in motion, making it look as if the Griffin is about to take flight. It also has wings curled up to further illustrate the idea that the brand creates forward momentum. We created a font inspired by ancient roman texts. We’ve also made sure that the design is modern with light colors and a clean layout. We didn’t want our design to feel too formal combined with the traditional serif font.
Secondary Assets
Design has always been about storytelling. It’s about creating a narrative, an emotional connection between the consumer and the product. One way we accomplished this with the brand is to create supplementary illustrations that showed ancient Romans in the act of creating and working. We wanted readers to be able to understand how the Romans lived and worked without having to slog through a bunch of text. We wanted to add some levity and character to the brand through this artwork. These assets were used in the print material, environmental graphics as well as in their web design.

Print Design
Print materials are some of the best tools to represent your company in your physical space and leave an impression. Our company created a concept of an informational brochure and other print collateral aligning with the Modus’ art direction and vision. We wanted the print materials to be fun, memorable and interesting. The main goal was to give it a luxury feel and to create an upscale impression.

Website Design
One of the most important aspects of creating a new business is in the beginning, setting up a website that will set you up for growth. As you start to build up your team and make waves within your industry, it’s important to have a website that can be used to market your services and make things like booking conference rooms effortless. A good design agency website should be easy to navigate, visually appealing, and super informative for members. While doing this it needs to comprehensively utilize your brand. We did this by incorporating our secondary art assets as well as light animations and transition effects.

Photography
For our agency, one of the biggest challenges is coming up with unique ways to showcase a space before its opened. One of simplest ideas to tackle this problem is to highlight how people would use the space using photography. We took photos in the middle of the build out and furnishing process with professional models in the Omaha area. The result? A stunning, artistic photo series that captures what it’s like to work at Modus Coworking. In continuing this trend after opening we still produce photos for social, print, and web.

3D Renderings
We created building renderings to showcase how the office spaces would look when it was completed. We also made sure to include what would be the perfect colors and materials. Not only did this help our clients visualize how their offices would look, but it also helped us create a logo that matched what the office space looked like. In the process, we created renderings that were beautiful and showcased the company’s personality. This was just one of many design-related tasks that came with creating a new brand.
